    Conversation Hearts is a brand name for those little candy hearts you find everywhere around Valentine's Day -- the ones with words printed on them.  When I wanted to write about Mulder and Scully's first Valentine's Day together after the events of "Millennium," it seemed like a natural title -- especially given how verbal our favorite agents can be.

    I decided I liked this Mulder and Scully -- playful and romantic, but still carrying lots of emotional baggage -- and I wanted them to play some more in this little world I'd created for them.

    At this time, I've completed six stories in the series, including the prologue.  Many more are planned, including a bunch of post-ep stories.  Within the timeline of THE X-FILES, all of the stories so far take place prior to the season 7 episode "Orison."
